“Couldn’t believe my ears after six months of enduring pain, numerous x-rays, an MRI, weeks of physical therapy, months of painful injections, and ultimately a rhizotomy (burning of nerves), the doctor (from a team of spine and pain specialists) looks at me and asks: “Have you thought of seeing a chiropractor?” I almost exploded. After finding Dr. Dave and learning a lot about spinal manipulation, to include the fact that my form of intervertebral disc degeneration is far more responsive to my spinal manipulation than surgery, I proceeded with chiropractic treatment, albeit skeptically optimistic. After six months of progressive relief, I am down from three adjustments (visits) per week to one every other week. Most importantly, I feel better now than I have in over a year, and have resumed to most activities. By the way, Dr. Dave took more extensive x-rays than any other doctor, contracted a detailed analysis by professional radiologists, and educated me more about my condition than I believed any doctor does with his/her patients (and believe me, I’ve been to a few over the years). Also know that Dr. Dave is a truly caring and genuine person. “ –Don Crocetti Jr.
“Thank you so much for being our doctor while we’ve been in the area. It has been a blessing to have regular adjustments by a very competent Gonstead chiropractor! Thank you for all you have done to help us feel better.” –The Workman Family
“Thank you so much for helping Hunter with his ankle. You are generous with what god has entrusted you with, the care of people! Thank you for being available and willing to help. God bless” –Hunter & Joan Feick
“I apologize for being remiss in not writing you this letter sooner. I stopped using your services several years ago and wanted to thank you for all the help you provided to me. For years I had suffered form back pain that caused me considerable grief, but I always thought that it was something that I would simply have to live with. I never truly considered a chiropractor because, quite honestly, I thought you guys were borderline quacks. You changed that. I stopped coming to you because I have been totally pain free for about two years, and I attribute that entirely to you. I have many times in the past, and will continue to refer people to you, not only because you helped me achieve a better life, but because you are both a true professional and a good person. Your sense of humor, caring and “bedside manner” so to speak, are the characteristics that exemplify the what the medical profession should be and I simply wanted to take a moment and thank you for all that you did for me. I wish you the very best in your life and career in helping people. You do it very, very well.” –James E. Lerro
“Thank you so much for all you do for me! You’re my “chiropractor away from home”! The last adjustment you did on my knee worked GREAT! I haven’t worn my brace since last time I saw you! I did a 1 ½ mile hike each way up and down a mountain and I did it without the knee brace! My knee rarely hurts me anymore even when I go up and down steps a lot! I’m very thankful that you were able to help me! I had been in the knee brace for 9 months and had almost lost hope of even being able to walk right again. I’ve been out of the knee brace 63 days as of July 5th. Thank you so much for helping me. You’re a great doctor! –Allison Workman
“I went to a funeral in Chestertown and, on the way back to DC stopped to get one of your fine treatments. Best funeral I ever attended. Because I am happy you have better vision than my shoe repair man. You were right. I was having hip pain because my foot maladjustment. You fixed that pain with a twist of your wrist and I was painless for two weeks. I found a Gonstead chiropractor an hour’s ride from my apartment. I went to him twice. He didn’t understand your twist of the wrist. In fact, I believe he is a fake Gonsteader. I told him about your twist. His twist was like swatting a fly. In Chicago there are no real Gonsteaders. I checked the website. You advised exercise for the arch, using a golf ball. I never go to a place that sells golf balls. But I found a glass ball approximately the size of a golf. I put it in a lid from a cardboard box and exercised my arch while doing my desk work. I have had no pain since the first week of golf balling. After leaving your office, I tried to walk straight. I had heels repaired. On shoes that were not repaired, I walked in a way avoiding the maladjustment. As the golf exercise piled up, I found myself forgetting about walking straight. You’ve cured me. I usually forget about foot adjusting when I walk now. I walked a couple miles on a trip in Florida and neither walked carefully nor had any pain. Tell your patients about your sure cure. I wish you worked in Chicago.” -Nathaniel Polster
